The call for children to stay at home (+ Photos)

Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 4 – Stay at home, by the Camagüey filmmaker Oscar Alejandro Viñas Pendones, won the Spot Award from the central jury of the 30th Audiovisual Show El Almacén de la Imagen, which is organized annually by the local branch of the Hermanos Saíz Association .

The work distinguished “by the effectiveness of its speech for from the imagination of the director and the childlike grace of its protagonist to communicate that even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, joy and hope are not alien.” Leer el resto de esta entrada »

Ante la COVID-19 y a través de una visualidad infantil: el llamado a los niños a quedarse en casa (+Fotos)

Camagüey, Cuba.- A partir de una reseña publicada por la página digital de la Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba, en La Habana, la revista colombiana Primicia Diario, dedica hoy la página 7  a resaltar el audivisual  Quédate en casa, del realizador camagüeyano Oscar Alejandro Viñas Pendones.

La obra ganó el Premio en spot  del jurado central de la XXX Muestra Audiovisual El Almacén de la Imagen, clausurado anoche en la ciudad de Camagüey, cuyo segmento más antiguo es Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad. Leer el resto de esta entrada »
