June, 2020.- With the exception of Havana, all Cuban provinces and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud are in the first stage of recovery from Covid-19, when 92 percent of patients infected with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 is already recovered.
The largest of the Antilles has controlled the pandemic by only maintaining 63 active patients, who show a stable clinical evolution and a critically ill patient. To date, the death of 85 people is lamented.
Dr. Francisco Durán, director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), in the press conference on Thursday highlighted the effectiveness of the protocols and behaviors applied in patients, the validity of the measures adopted and the effort of specialists and scientists in the care and treatment of patients with Covid-19.
