Cuba prevailed over Covid-19 in the midst of the intensification of the US blockade, affirmed the president of Cuba

June, 2020.- Amid the intensification of the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States of America, the largest of the Antilles prevailed over Covid-19 and is preparing to return to normality in the middle of next week, or the next one.
The foregoing was affirmed by the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, in his appearance on the Mesa Redonda television program and affirmed that the new coronavirus constituted a challenge for the Caribbean nation.
“Intensive work has been done to save lives and the results lead us to glimpse that we are in a moment close to moving to recovery.”
He argued that “to the extent that we are more effective, to the same extent that we have better results in the recovery stage, we will be reaching the normalcy of the country faster”. (Leer más en esta entrada)
