With effective strategies: Cuba seeks to checkmate COVID-19 (+ Photos)

June, 2020.- After more than 90 days of struggle for life and effective work of the Public Health System, institutions, state agencies and the population, Cuba completes and intensifies strategies to checkmate the SARS-CoV coronavirus- 2, causing the Covid-19.

The results of the Island have also been made possible by the efforts of science with new models of clinical trials and diagnostic tests for the treatment and monitoring of the disease. It also advances in the search for a specific vaccine against Covid-19 that generates a specific immune response, that prevents the replication of this new coronavirus and subsists for a long period of time.

This is based on previous experiences with other injectables to design their own strategy, as revealed by Iris Valdés, a member of the vaccine project against that disease, belonging to the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. (Leer más en esta entrada)
