Camagüey, Cuba, May 18.- Lázaro David Najarro Pujol is the artist —journalism has given him that gift—; and Camagüey, the city that yields to its whims to capture its charms at the right moments.
The exhibition The artist and the city reveals the mid-thousand-year-old city in which the experienced reporter has carried out his journalistic work.
In sixteen snapshots, taken by Najarro between 2012 and the first months of the current calendar, we appreciate Port-au-Prince of “skin” of mud and winding streets; its Santa Cecilia Convention Center; three of its squares: that of San Juan de Dios, that of Carmen and that of the Workers; in addition to the Glorieta del Casino Campestre, among other images that demonstrate the status of Cultural Heritage of Humanity granted to the historic center in 2008.
