Local development projects are enhanced in Camagüey
Camagüey, Cuba, Jan 31.- About 20 projects will be boosted in the current year in five Camagüey´s municipalities, according to the evaluation of the Provincial group of Local Development that met in the City of the Tinajones, whose historical center is Cultural Heritage of the Humanity.
In a meeting chaired by Ángel Félix Peláez Rivero, Vice-President of the Council of the Provincial Administration, it was known that the local industrialists in the territory work in three projects, among them Red Hands, destined to the manufacture of utilitarian objects from the mud.
They are also added in the aforementioned sector the FIXER and Bebé projects, the latter will use the marabou for the elaboration of cribs and other objects of great demand and that stand out by the high quality.
The City Tourism Company Santa Maria defended among other proposals that of the América Hotel that will have 15 rooms, in as much accommodation will sponsor the center of multiple events in the facilities of the old Sugar villa, in the provincial capital.
It will also work on the future Local development project La India, on the outskirts of the city of Camagüey and to be counted in a first stage with 15 horses destined mainly to serve the population.
Projections for the current year include the winding workshop for the provision of repair services to electronic devices which, among its priority lines, highlight import substitution and rehabilitation of engines, equipment and their accessories of entities and the population.
In the province of Camagüey, nine Local Development Projects have been approved, among which are the Casino Recreational Cultural Center, the patio of the restaurant La Volanta, the Cinema Circuit and the patio of Rancho Luna restaurant, among others.
