Honran en Camagüey a Humberto y Titón, dos grandes cineastas cubanos

Camagüey, Cuba, 11 dic– La invitación a convertir al usuario en espectador crítico y creativo en esta era de las nuevas tecnologías de la información convocó Juan Antonio García Borrero al inaugurar la POST exposición Humberto y Titón en las memorias que se encuentra abierta en la galería del Complejo Audiovisual Nuevo Mundo en esta ciudad. 

El también Premio Nacional de Crítica e Investigación cinematográficos recordó que la muestra forma parte del Proyecto El Callejón de los Milagros, en la cual el espectador puede desplazarse por diversos soportes y desde la red descargarse gratuitamente en móviles, tables y laptop.

Enfatizó que los interesados tienen en sus manos la posibilidad de observar lo expuesto, pero también descargar del Portal, archivos asociados a lo que los ojos están viendo y “construir sus propias rutas de aprendizaje, de acuerdo al horizonte de expectativas que le guíe en ese instante”.

La exposición contiene alrededor de 20 libros impresos o en soporte electrónico que abordan la obra de Tomás Gutiérrez Alea (1928- 1995) y Humberto Solás (1941- 2008), entre 12 y 15 filmes y diez fotografías de valor histórica sobre esos dos grandes del cine cubano de estilos irreconciliables.

García Borrero puntualizó que el proyecto, ubicado en el Paseo Temático Calle de los Cines, se creó hace más de cuatro años como consecuencia de la alianza estratégica de las direcciones provinciales de cultura, cine, Asociación Hermanos Saíz y de la Unión de Informáticos de Cuba.

Especificó que la exposición Humberto y Titón en las memorias apela a lo transmedial “para poner a dialogar entre sí y con el público de ahora mismo, a estos dos grandes intelectuales cubanos cuyas propuestas fílmicas todavía nos invitan a navegar la cubanidad de un modo transversal y convergente”.

Juan Antonio García Borrero afirmó que Tomás Gutiérrez Alea y Humberto Solás “sabían que la esencia de un arte que busca perdurar en el ser humano ha de rastrear su forma de expresión más depurada, en la realidad desnuda de artificios. Titón y Solás, cada uno a su manera, se hicieron adictos a mejorar esa realidad”.

Camagüey, Cuba, Dec 11.-The invitation to convert the user into a critical and creative spectator in this era of new information technologies convened Juan Antonio García Borrero at the inauguration of the exhibition Humberto and Titón in the memoirs that is open in the gallery of the New World Audiovisual Complex, in this city.

The National Prize of Film Critic and Research also recalled that the exhibition is part of the project The Alley of Miracles, in which the viewer can move through various media and from the net download free of charge on mobile, tables and laptop. He emphasized that the interested parties have in their hands the possibility of observing the exposed, but also downloading of the Portal, files associated to what the eyes are seeing and “to build their own paths of learning, according to the horizon of expectations that guide him at that instant.”

The exhibition contains about 20 printed books or electronic support that address the work of Tomás Gutiérrez Alea (1928-1995) and Humberto Solás (1941-2008), between 12 and 15 films and ten photographs of historical value on these two great men of the Cuban cinema.

García Borrero pointed out that the project, located in the thematic street of the cinemas, was created more than four years ago as a result of the strategic alliance of the Provincial Directorates of Culture, cinema, Hermanos Saiz Association and the Informatics Union of Cuba.

He specified that the exhibition Humberto and Titón in the memoirs appeals to the Transmedial «to put to dialogue with each other and with the public of right now, these two great Cuban intellectuals whose film proposals still invite us to navigate Cuban identity in a transversal and convergent way «.

Juan Antonio García Borrero said that Tomás Gutiérrez Alea and Humberto Solás «knew that the essence of an art that seeks to endure in human beings has to trace its most refined form of expression, in the naked reality of artifices.
