A debate en Camagüey, ciudad que construimos y la que vivimos

Camagüey, Cuba, 27 nov.- La ciudad que construimos y la que vivimos es el tema del espacio de reflexión Pluralidades que se efectuará el venidero 4 de diciembre en la sede de la Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba en esta ciudad patrimonial (UNEAC).

La arquitecta Adela García Yero, doctora en Arte y master en Conservación y Rehabilitación del Patrimonio Construido, será la invitada especial del encuentro que una vez al mes, siempre a las cuatro de la tarde, organiza la filial de literatura de la UNEAC en la también conocida Ciudad de los Tinajones.

Conducido por el escritor Jorge Santos Caballero, en Pluralidades se ha reflexionado entre otros temas sobre el estado actual de la literatura cubana; el rol de los curadores de las artes plásticas; la música cubana y el protagonismo de los jóvenes en la cultura; al igual que el papel de la radio, el teatro y  la enseñanza artística.

Además, se ha indagado sobre el protagonismo de la cultura cubana en defensa de la humanidad, la arquitectura, urbanismo y la antropología en un proyecto que no solo es divulgador y promotor de la cultura sino también en analista  de los problemas de la cultura cubana, dijo Jorge Santos Caballero.

El próximo debate se repasará entre otros aspectos en torno la arquitectura en una urbe cuyo centro histórico es Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad y que el venidero 2 de febrero de 2019 cumplirá 505 años de fundada.

To debate in Camagüey, city we build and we live

Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 28.- The city we build and the one we live in is the theme of the space of reflection Pluralities that will be made on December 4 at the headquarters of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC), in this patrimonial city.

The architect Adela García Yero, PhD in Art and Master in Conservation and Rehabilitation of the Constructed Patrimony, will be the special guest of the meeting that once a month, always at 4:00 pm, organizes the subsidiary of Literature of the UNEAC, in the also known as the City of the Tinajones.

Led by the writer Jorge Santos Caballero, in Pluralities has been reflected, among other topics, on the current state of Cuban literature; the role of the curators of the plastic arts; Cuban music and the prominence of young people in culture; like the role of radio, theatre and artistic teaching.

In addition, he has investigated the role of Cuban culture in defending humanity, architecture, urbanism and anthropology in a project that is not only divulging and promoter of culture but also in analyst of the problems of nationality, said Jorge Santos Caballero.

The next debate will be reviewed -among other aspects- about the architecture in a city whose historical center is cultural patrimony of humanity and that the coming February 2, 2019 will fulfill 505 years of founded. (by Lázaro D. Najarro Pujol) (Translated by Linet Acuña Quilez)
