Intercambian creadores de la UNEAC camagüeyana sobre grabado a color

Camagüey, Cuba, 12 nov.- Con el objetivo de contribuir a ampliar conocimientos relacionados con la técnica de grabar piezas artísticas a color se realizó un taller de intercambio en el municipio de Vertientes, con la participación de creadores del sureño territorio y de la ciudad de Camagüey.

En la experiencia concurrieron entre otros René de la Torre y Rodrick Dixon, ambos integrantes de la filial de Artes Plásticas de la Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba (UNEAC), para ampliar entorno a la litografía artística, sus capacidades precisas, la importancia del taco como matriz y ejercicios prácticos de impresión mecánica.

Se enfatizó, entre otras alternativas técnicas y artísticas, en el uso de colores y  tintas litográficas para la impresión sobre papel u otro material, una técnica de estampación de muy amplia capacidad expresiva, sencilla y ágil a decir de los especialistas.

René de la Torre Aguilar reflejó, en su grabado a color, a la mujer, temática que forma parte de sus más recientes creaciones, en las que están presentes también, la espiritualidad de la fémina, el éxtasis, la inquietud y la sorpresa: la mujer, la naturaleza y la campiña.

En tanto Rodrick Dixon, descendiente jamaicano radicado en el batey azucarero de Vertientes, refleja en sus obras a personajes de la narración oral del Caribe. El autor utiliza colores transparentes acorde con las propias transformaciones del protagonista y para abrir el diapasón de la creatividad. (Fuente portal UNEAC Nacional)

Exchange Camagüey´s creators on color engraving

Camagüey, Cuba, Nov 12.-In order to contribute to broadening knowledge related to the technique of engraving artistic pieces in color, an exchange workshop was held in the municipality of Vertientes, with the participation of creators of the Southern territory and the City of Camagüey.

The experience was attended by among others René de la Torre and Rodrick Dixon, both members of the Plastic Arts subsidiary of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC), to broaden the artistic lithograph, its precise capacities, the importance of taco as matrix and practical exercises of mechanical printing.

It was emphasized, among other technical and artistic alternatives, in the use of colors and lithographic inks for printing on paper or other material, a technique of stamping of very wide expressive capacity, simple and agile to say of the specialists.

René de la Torre Aguilar reflected, in his color engraving, the woman, thematic that is part of his most recent creations, in which are also present, the spirituality of the female, the ecstasy, the restlessness and the surprise: The woman, the nature and the countryside.

As Rodrick Dixon, a Jamaican descendant who lives in the small sugar town of Vertientes, reflects in his works the characters of the oral narration of the Caribbean. The author uses transparent colors in accordance with the protagonist’s own transformations and to open the fingerboard of creativity. (Text and photos by Lázaro D.
